Adventure with purpose
Trail Life USA is a church-based, Christ-centered mentoring and discipleship program for boys. Outdoor experiences help boys grow in character, serve their community and develop practical leadership skills.
Troop OH-0317 meets at Pleasant View. Families from outside the church are welcome, and boys can register at their first meeting.
Meetings
Our regular pattern is the first and third Thursdays, 6:30–8:00 PM, at Pleasant View. Use the dated events below to confirm the next meeting.
Troop OH-0317 age groups
- Woodlands Trail · Ages 5–10: Outdoor skills, citizenship, character, friendship and faith.
- Navigators · Ages 11–13: Outdoor adventure, responsibility and earning Trail Badges.
- Adventurers · Ages 14–17: Leadership challenges, outdoor experiences and mentoring younger Trailmen.
Our troop follows Trail Life USA’s age groups. Ask the troop about placement or transition questions.
About the program
- Biblical teaching and a Christian worldview guide the program.
- Youth membership is for boys; trained, background-checked Christian men lead the troop.
- Challenging activities and awards support physical, mental and spiritual growth.
- Pleasant View owns and operates the troop as a church ministry. Certain troop leadership roles require church membership.
- Dads are welcome to participate, but are not required to attend; boys are welcome even when a dad cannot be involved.
